Born to surfer parents, I grew up in the world of surfing in French Polynesia. They passed on their passion to me when I was just 8 years old. My mother, a judge at surfing competitions, and my father, a former coach for the Tahitian National Surfing Team, naturally steered me toward this sport.

I started competing in surf contests at a very young age and quickly began placing on local and international podiums. At age 16, I embarked on a career as a professional surfer, competing in Pro Junior events organized by the ASP (now the World Surf League—WSL), while continuing my studies.

Despite promising results, my career as a professional surfer came to an end in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. I then decided to pursue a career change, while remaining involved in the water sports and tourism industries in French Polynesia.

I then had the privilege of joining the very first class of the BPJEPS program specializing in “Surfing and Related Disciplines” in French Polynesia. This comprehensive 9-month program (from October 2, 2023, to June 28, 2024) was conducted under the supervision of the IJSPF and the SEFI. It allowed me to acquire solid skills as a surf instructor, as well as in entrepreneurship applied to water sports.
